Whether you enjoy a light walk along the creek or a long mountain biking adventure our location rarely disappoints. Explore the "Wildflower Capital of Colorado", spend the day on the river fishing or white water-rafting or simply relax by the creek napping in one of our many creekside hammocks.

Winter Splendor

Winter at the Pioneer is a truly magical time of year. The cabins are enveloped in blankets of snow and the warm fires warm the soul. Guests enjoy the convenience of sledding hills for the kids, snowshoe and skiing trails right outside the door and we are just a short 20 minute drive to Crested Butte Mountain Resort, for those looking to ski the legendary slopes Mount Crested Butte.

Autumn

There is perhaps no better time to explore Crested Butte than the fall. The hillsides glow with vibrant color and the peaks reveal their first snow of the new winter season. Peaceful, quiet, and majestic fall is secretly the greatest time of the year.
