Just a 15 minute drive from the Pioneer are the Taylor and Gunnison rivers. 

Local outfitters can take you on class IV rapids, flat water or anything in between.  Rafting can be a great way to get some thrills with your family, or to just relax and hope you see some bighorn sheep coming down to the river for a drink or see an eagle snatch one of our prized rainbows for dinner.
